Your story is worth a necklace
I want to take you to special moments in the lives of people who live near or far away. Moments that were 'life changing' for them for various reasons and that I have converted into short stories always including a life lesson, which I share here on this website. So we can learn from each others lessons.
In exchange for sharing your story I will make you a necklace.
The basis for this idea lies in Africa. I went, alone, to the AfrikaBurn festival (the sister of Burningman) in the desert of South Africa. You live for a week without money or contact and thanks to exchanging 'things' you get your coffee and your Bloody Mary. Aware of this exchange principle, I returned to my old hobby: making necklaces.
I boarded the plane with about 100 handmade necklaces that on the one hand made me eat & drinking, on the other hand, resulted in great conversations about life lessons. It was a life-changing week for me: a week in the desert, sleeping in a small tent, no phone, among 10,000 strangers. To be honest, it wasn't always easy but it is precisely then that change can take place and it did.
I left my fear of abandonment forever behind in the desert.
